Urban Paradise

Urban Paradise

Mural along Selegie Road. This surprising spot of colour brightens an otherwise dingy corridor outside a coffeeshop.

Woo ... I love the way you made the guy somewhat part of the mural but not really part of it. Er ... wonderful colours.

Navin, the original shot had a bit of motion blur, and a added to it using PS. Partially as an exercise to learn how to do it and also because the pedestrian may not have wanted his picture taken.

Your photos of SG make me want to slowly roam/explore SG streets and see the colours and details of our country. Thru your pics I feel that I am seeing Singapore for the first time. (And to think I consider myself very much a patriotic singaporean... haha..)

thanks for the comments.

nanie,

making these photos has taught me a little about how to see. The ordinary, mundane daily scenes are now fraught with opportunities to discover and create. I hope that I've been able to share that with everyone.
