Niven Road Afternoon

Niven Road Afternoon

Cat enjoying a lazy afternoon on Niven Road. There's a wonderful row of shophouses here which retain a feel of what Singapore must have been like in the past. The scene had a timeless feel under the afternoon sun. This could be Singapore in the 50's or even further back to the turn of the century. Nothing would have changed, the cat and the bicycle and the flaking paint would not have looked very different when bicycles, rickshaws and bullock carts were the only means of transport on this island.

Like the colors and a mix of curves and lines. The cat & old bicycle just add to it all. Nice.

Thanks all.

Garnet, I post-process every shot that I post here to try and get the brightness and colours looking decent.
