Thinking it Over

First attempt at compositing. Bashed this out using brute force basically with a rough cut-and-paste. The only tricky bit is where there's an overlap between the two figures. Used layers and some masking to get the overlap looking ok. I was hoping to avoid the overlap entirely.

Thanks to Donald Agarrat for the inspiration and the tips on technique.

Also finally managed to get the picture to fit within the template frame. About 450 pixels wide is safe. I'll see whether I can stretch it wider than that.
